Tuesday, August 4, 2026 - We were having lunch at our favorite beach-side restaurant (Duke’s) when a stranger at another table asked us if we would like her to take our photo. I handed her my iPhone and this is what she captured.

July 23, 2026 - We made our annual visit to the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, California. It was a hot day but we managed to visit all of the exhibits and events we wanted to see.

June 25, 2026 - When I worked in San Diego in the 90’s, I drove past this temple as it was being build in full view of viehicles traveling on the I-5 freeway going into San Diego. No surprise that when I learned that it was open for Open House after several years of renovation, I had to see it.

May 23, 2026 - This is an event that was going on for decades with a home base in my neighborhood and I knew nothing about it. This year with prompting from my son, we decided to go and I was glad we did.

Sunday, September 28, 2025 - Catalina Island was the second stop we made on our California Coast Cruise which started in Vancouver, Canada.

March 12, 2005 - I visited Germany for fourteen days on business. My base during that period was Erlangen. Siemens, the German medical healthcare company was my employer at the time. This company has a significant presence in Erlangen.
