I’m a retired systems engineer from the medical Information Technology field but my persistent hobby through decades of work and travel has been photography. My career gave me the opportunity to travel extensively across the United States, and combined with leisure travel and cruises, I’ve been fortunate to see many corners of the world. My camera went with me everywhere.
Over the years that curiosity and dedication produced a large collection—tens of thousands of images. This site is my way of curating and sharing the images I find most compelling. While I’m especially drawn to landscapes and scenery, I photograph anything that captures my interest. The Odds & Ends portfolio on this site reflects that wide-ranging curiosity.

Tuesday, August 4, 2026 - We were having lunch at our favorite beach-side restaurant (Duke’s) when a stranger at another table asked us if we would like her to take our photo. I handed her my iPhone and this is what she captured.
July 23, 2026 - We made our annual visit to the Orange County Fair in Costa Mesa, California. It was a hot day but we managed to visit all of the exhibits and events we wanted to see.
June 25, 2026 - When I worked in San Diego in the 90’s, I drove past this temple as it was being build in full view of viehicles traveling on the I-5 freeway going into San Diego. No surprise that when I learned that it was open for Open House after several years of renovation, I had to see it.
May 23, 2026 - This is an event that was going on for decades with a home base in my neighborhood and I knew nothing about it. This year with prompting from my son, we decided to go and I was glad we did.
Sunday, September 28, 2025 - Catalina Island was the second stop we made on our California Coast Cruise which started in Vancouver, Canada.
Friday, September 26, 2025 - San Francisco, California. This is the first stop we made on the California Costal Cruise
March 27, 2024 - Bridgetown is the Capital City of Barbados. Through the years it has changed significantly. Some of the photos I have captured would reflect some of the most recent changes.
October 1, 2022 - Pacific Airshow at Huntington Beach Pier on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) and Main Street.
November 6, 2018 - Bridgetown turns on its charm in the month of November to celebrate Independence Day and Republic Day.
