This is the Mendenhall Glacier, located just outside of Juneau, Alaska. It’s part of the Tongass National Forest and is one of the most accessible glaciers in North America.
The cable car you see in Juneau is the Goldbelt Tram (formerly known as the Mount Roberts Tramway).
This is the Arctic Brotherhood Hall, located on Broadway in Skagway, Alaska. The front of the building is covered in approximately 8,800 pieces of driftwood (specifically sticks and roots) gathered from local beaches. It was originally applied in 1899.
The significance of the "On to Alaska with Buchanan" rock painting at Mile 8.8 (Clifton) on the White Pass & Yukon Route is rooted in a unique chapter of Depression-era philanthropy and character building.

White Pass & Yukon Route (WP&YR) railway at the White Pass Summit (elevation 2,865 feet). The rocky outcrop with a few resilient trees is a landmark often referred to as "Dead Horse Island" or simply the island in Summit Lake.
This bridge is the historic Steel Cantilever Bridge spanning Dead Horse Gulch along the White Pass & Yukon Route (WP&YR) near Skagway, Alaska. Completed in 1901, it was an engineering marvel of its time.
