The Clock Gate, built in 1631 served as the only entrance to the historic city.
Colonial building located at the corner of Calle Portocarrero and Calle de las Carretas in the historic walled Old Town of Cartagena de Indias. [kj]
Calle del Arzobispo (Archbishop Street). It runs right through the center of the Old Town directly toward the Plaza de la Proclamation and Santa Catalina de Alejandria Cathedral. [kj]
The Cathedral of saint Catherine of Alexandria, commonly known as Cartagena Cathedral. Construction began in 1575 but it was partially destroyed by Sir Francis Drake in 1586. I was fully completed in 1612.
